MixMap.com has decided to run a referral contest! The contest will run from November 15th through December 15th. We will be giving away prizes to MixMap.com users who get the most friends to sign up. The top 5 finishers will get prizes. The second through fifth place finishers will get a 2GB Ipod Nano, and the person to refer the most friends will get $500 cash!
How do you participate? Simple. You just use our Tell a Friend feature to tell as many friends as you can about MixMap.com. As they sign up for accounts on MixMap.com, and their accounts are verified (to be a verified user, the user must create a map and have at least 5 unique visitors), you will see your number of referrals grow. As you can see from the Tell a Friend feature, you can either post bulletins on MySpace.com or send emails to friends. In order to receive credit for a referral, you must use one of those 2 methods or have someone click through on your individual referral link.
